This page explains how Crypto Ruble Coins uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you stay in control of them. It works together with the consent banner you see on your first visit and with our privacy policy.
The two kinds of storage we use
- Strictly necessary / functional storage. A small amount of browser local storage remembers your selected display currency and your light/dark theme, and records your cookie choice so we don’t ask again. This is essential for the site to work the way you set it, does not identify you, and is not used for advertising.
- Optional analytics. With your consent, we use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand overall traffic — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from — so we can improve the site. This never builds an advertising profile of you.
Your consent, your control
On your first visit, a consent banner lets you Accept all or choose Necessary only. If you choose Necessary only, optional analytics stay switched off; only the strictly-necessary functional storage is used. You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer, which reopens the banner. You can also clear cookies and local storage whenever you like in your browser settings.
Third-party content
We keep third-party embeds to a minimum and proxy our live market and FX data through our own servers rather than loading it from external trackers. Where a genuinely necessary third-party element appears, it is covered by the same consent choice.
What we don’t do
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use cookies to track you across other websites for advertising. Our cookie use is limited to running the site and, only with your consent, understanding aggregate traffic.
Global privacy controls
Because optional analytics only run after you actively accept them, the site behaves as privacy-first by default. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal, treating that as a preference is consistent with our approach — declining optional analytics changes nothing about your access to the site. How long choices last
Your currency, theme, and consent preferences are stored on your own device and persist until you clear them or change them. Optional analytics, when enabled, are configured to retain only aggregate, short-lived information rather than long-term individual profiles. Clearing your browser storage resets everything, and the consent banner will simply ask again on your next visit.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) and the CCPA/CPRA (California) — including to access, correct, or delete personal data, to opt out of optional analytics, and, in California, not to have personal information “sold” or “shared” (we do neither). Declining optional cookies never limits your access to our content. To exercise any right, or if you have a question about how we handle data, contact us and we will respond in line with the law that applies to you.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use cookies or analytics, we will update this page, and material changes to what requires consent will be reflected in the consent banner. The date of the current version is available on request.
